A Trip (again) to Kuala Lumpur

Last week, Microsoft held a workshop called Citizen Services Platform in Maya Hotel - Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Basically it's a concept on how to build solutions in public sector (citizen-related) using sets of Microsoft technology such as SharePoint, CRM, etc. I was there for 3 days with some friends from Microsoft Indonesia and other partner companies. I'll elaborate more about CSP on next posts, right now here are some images captured during the sightseeing.

Happy Ied 1029 H

I wish everyone the most Happy Greetings of Eid al Fitr. May God bless all who have fasted during this month and may He accept all our Ibada (worship). We beseech God for His guidance in all our thoughts and actions. May He help all of us share in the joy of our friends and family. May He help us remember and feel the suffering of those who are disadvantaged and oppressed so that we may work to establish peace and justice for all.

Happy Ied 1029 H and Happy Birthday to Qistan (3 years old)

Today, October 1st 2008 at 00:00:00 AM, is A BIG DAY for me and little Qistan. Such a great moment, Thank You God Almighty for today I'm celebrating both Ied 1029 H and Qistan's 3 years old birthday. Thank You for the moments I've shared so far with my little one, through the good and the bad, the laugh and the cry. May we both grow stronger, matured and faithful to face the world. This is really one tough journey....I just want to share a "time capsule" message for my little one, hopefully you're now able to read and understand English when you're reading this post, here it goes :

"Dear Qistan,

You're now 3 years old. Time passes by so fast that I couldn't believe my eyes when seeing you grow so smart and handsome (chubby like your daddy...ha ha ha). You're now able to communicate better, and even speak in long sentences with many new vocabs. You have more songs to sing like Pelangi, Naik Kereta Api, Naik ke Puncak Gunung, Kukuruyuk, and even counting One to Ten in order, literally in English! You have grown beyond my thought. You have developed yourself in such an unthinkable way. You are just amazing. I feel like the luckiest father, I AM THE LUCKIEST FATHER on earth! Hey, maybe the idea of registering you to the Playgroup school wasn't bad at all :). However my little one, I know I have not been a better father lately. I'm so far from being a perfect father who can give you enough love and compassion, or being an ideal parent like you want me to be, like I HAVE TO BE. For that, I'm truly sorry. I apologize for every skipped important moments, and things that I thought small but turned out BIG for you. I can't never forgive myself when thinking about that, I wish I can make it up to you, or turn back time if I have to. I hope one day, when you're big enough, you will understand everything that had happened to us, and that you will keep on growing stronger, wiser, and better, BETTER THAN YOUR PARENTS. One thing for sure my little one, I will always love and care about you. No matter what have happened, my heart will always be with you for you are my brightest star in my lonely nights. You always shine and protect my way. I learn so much from you. Through you, I can see my own reflection and realize how small and stupid I am. From you I can learn to defeat my own worst enemy, that is me myself. Thank you for being so funny and wonderful. You are a God Send. I hope you will never forget the moments we have shared together. Remember these keywords...Kereta Api and Palang...those were your favorite words when you were 3 years old :D. I also have to mention that you are also able to say your prayer when you are about to sleep or eat, and also doing Shalat. OK Kiddo, stay happy and optimistic, you still have a long way to go and a brighter future, YOU DESERVE it. Happy Birthday"

Toughest Ramadhan Ever

This is really a tough Ramadhan. With all the works and personal problems going on, this must be one hard fasting month. It's still the first week, but I'm mentally and physically drained. I REALLY need to control my emotion and feeling toward people I care as well as hate. Please pardon my saying and deeds...I'm just a human being...sins magnet, imperfect, selfish,unstable...God, have mercy on me...

C'mere

What a song ......... I really love it!

C'Mere

by : Interpol

======================================

It's way too late to be this locked inside ourselves

The trouble is that you're in love with someone else

It should be me. Oh, it should be me

Your sacred parts, your getaways

You come along on summer days

Tenderly, tastefully

And so may, we make time

Try to find somebody else

This place is mine

You said today, you know exactly how I feel

I have my doubts little girl

I'm in love with something real

It could be me, that's changing

And so may, we make time

To try and find somebody else

Who has a line

Now seasoned with health

Two lovers walk a lakeside mile

Try pleasing with stealth, rodeo

See what stands long ending fast

Oh, how I love you in the evenings

When we are sleeping

We are sleeping.

Oh, we are sleeping

And so may, we make time

We try to find somebody else

Who has a line

Now seasoned with health

Two lovers walk a lakeside mile

Try pleasing with stealth, rodeo

See what stands long, oh ending fast

What Happened in Bangkok Part 2

Now...at the Suvarnabhumi airport...
