Invitation from e-Indonesia Magazine

What a nice way to close this hell week. Just received an invitation from e-Indonesia magazine to celebrate their first year in industry. I will also be accepting this kind of "appreciation" for actively writing articles to the magazine. Big thanks to my boss Stanley for giving me permission to attend this event, and Mr. Andy Zoeltom who always patiently encourages me to meet the deadline. Not forgetting to mention my hardcore developer buddy, Natalinus, who is also becoming my co-writer in covering new stuff like Ajax and Comet. This one goes for you too, man! Hopefully you'll be invited on the next event, so keep on writing kewl stuff. BTW, congratulation for the trip to Bali, have one helluva vacation there...buy me some souveniers :)

Comet, another killer stuff?

Let me introduce you to Comet, another hotshot in web UI programming. Is it going to be an Ajax-Killer or Ajax-Competitor? It's you to decide. Comet works differently than Ajax. It focuses more on collaboration and multiuser environment. Check out Meebo or GTalk for real examples of Comet, and please do compare Comet with Ajax in diagram below.

Had a great time playing with Bandung airsofters. Nice fellas. I was with the yellow team, we covered each other in the battle. And yes, M47 was proven as one hell of a spring shotgun. Can you tell me where I am?
